 This is a 14 week course in which every other week will be implementation week with a group call to help you implement behavioral change. .

Let me introduce myself:

My name is Allison, a former macro-tracker, calorie-counter, and Beachbody dieter.

My love for nutrition and fitness came from the question, “Well, what can we control in this lifetime?”

Instantly, I thought, “Well, I can control what I eat, and how much I exercise.”

So, I studied nutrition labels, started running, started categorizing foods as “healthy or unhealthy'' [which propelled food guilt], and digested every ounce of Women’s Health Magazines telling me what to eat.

Over time this innocent fascination on “what I can control” turned into an obsession. The “healthy behaviors” I was performing were really disordered eating behaviors in disguise. I experienced Binge Eating Disorder in college, and that eventually floated along as Orthorexia.

I was always trying to lose weight to some capacity, and I would get so down on myself if I slipped on my food rules (I ate more than one cookie) or ate a portion that I thought was “bad” (I ate two slices of bread vs. a cauliflower replacement). 

I knew something needed to change.

Fast forward to 2014 when I read the book Intuitive Eating, and my whole outlook changed.

Now in 2022, I’m a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, having helped many people over the past 6 years develop a peaceful relationship with food, and their body.

I, like so many of my current + past clients, now feel “food is just food”, there is no overcomplicating it.

Intuitive eating is life-proof, meaning it isn’t something you’re going to have to restart. You learn to eat based on your own body’s internal signals vs. relying on an app or program that doesn’t allow for flexibility, or joy.

When taking this course, not only will you transition from food tracking to intuitive eating, but you’ll also receive emotional support to make sure you’re doing what’s best for you, something diets rarely ever do.

 FAQ

  • 1:1 coaching is a higher investment ($447/month) for six months total, therefore my 1:1 clients get 12 private coaching calls, individual assignments, and direct support from me in between sessions. Most 1:1 clients come to me after trying intuitive eating on their own but need 1:1 accountability and support with the intuitive eating principles along with improving their body image + boundary setting + lessening perfectionism + alleviating anxiety, etc.

    In this course you do not have to be familiar with intuitive eating principles, nor is it required you have read the book. This is an introductory course of intuitive eating principles and best suited for someone who needs direction and clarity, but it is also willing to do the work outside of the course. Participants will receive 7 group coaching calls with opportunities to ask me questions.

  • Yes! While it is beneficial to work with the group at the designated time period, you’re never going to truly fall behind because the resources are yours for the keeping. You’ll also get access to any updates or new features.

  • No, I want to make this clear this is not a program that has you weigh or measure your weight. I do not guarantee what your weight will be after becoming an intuitive eater, otherwise this would be just another diet. People either gain, lose, or maintain weight with intuitive eating, but focusing on that wouldn’t help you become an intuitive eater.

    There is no shame in wanting to lose weight or having the desire to, but you're prioritizing your mental & physical well-being over weight-loss in this course.

  • No, there is no such thing as “perfect”. There will be lessons learned along the way (Module 6 & 7 is all about potential obstacles and supporting yourself through them). However, if you show up and do the work, you can absolutely feel better than when you started.

  • Yes, all calls are recorded and you will be given access to each recording. While it is beneficial to show up to the calls live (you’ll get opportunity to connect with others, and ask me questions), you’re allowed to be imperfect with needing to miss a call for whatever reason.
